Equity

Equity is critical to achieving quality education for all students. Cambridge has focused on equality and diversity throughout our schools but these alone cannot address the deeper challenges that individual students and their families face. Equity assures each students gets what she or he needs to be a successful student.

Access

Access to the wealth of educational resources that must be available to all students. All CPS families should feel they are part of our school communities. Transparency, respect, and inclusion will foster student, family, and community engagement in our schools. Engagement must focus on student success today and on their future economic and civic adult lives.

Excellence

Excellence requires that CPS sets high expectations for all students, teachers, and administrators. We must provide the resources necessary to address the breadth of strengths and challenges our children bring to the classroom. All students should experience high expectations from their teachers and through this experience learn to set high expectations for themselves.
